Official sees Russian inflation no higher than 7% in 2021

MOSCOW, Oct 11 (PRIME) – Russia’s inflation is unlikely to exceed 6.5–7.0% and will probably be lower in 2021, Fires Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov said on October 8.

"My estimate today is that in will be about 6.5–7.0%, in this range. Maybe, lower because the last two months may bring surprises. It will unlikely be higher," Belousov said.

The official said there was an untypically strong food price growth September, but it will soon come to an end.
